Dutch language and literature was my subject at the university of Amsterdam, culminating in a very small computer program and a very high stack of pages about the use of the computer for language at my graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next 13 years found me in the IT departments of large financial and commercial companies, writing and designing programs for their central computers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As an antidote I started making classical guitars, redesigning their acoustics using a logical and scientific way of thinking. This led to guitars with more volume and better possibilities for musical expression, that I called super concert guitars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To meet as many guitarists as possible I visited a lot of classical guitar festivals in Europe, the US and Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
32 years and 135 instruments later, exactly at the retirement age, I decided to stop making guitars, only to find myself, after a couple of years, making guitars again \u201cin my spare time\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
